I live with my husband Komene and our baby girl Waimārima, who is three and a half years old. I was born and bred in Te Umu Kaha (Temuka), but have called Ōtautahi (Christchurch) my home for the better part of the last 12 years. I love kapa haka, spending time with my whānau and being a māmā, and am passionate about learning, te reo Māori me ōna tikanga. I am so incredibly humbled and privileged to be a part of this journey, and I look forward to getting to know all of our pononga! Having dreamed the dream for so long, it is a really emotional experience to finally see that dream become a reality!
